At Mataka Arts, we are building a resilient arts sector by nurturing artists who are rigorous, ethical, inclusive, and values-led in their practice. Grounded in a commitment to inclusion and equity, we are seeking passionate, dedicated artists and educators to join our team as Drama Tutors and Facilitators in Suva.

Whether you are an experienced performance educator or a practicing artist looking to share your craft, we provide training, mentorship, and a collaborative environment where you can grow as a teacher while empowering diverse voices and the next generation of storytellers.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Practicing Artists & Educators: Experienced actors, theatremakers, dancers and drama facilitators - or passionate performers eager to train in arts education.

  • Values-Led Leaders: Individuals aligned with our mission to center Indigenous knowledge, champion equity, and create safe, inclusive, and encouraging spaces for every student.

  • Dynamic & Inclusive Communicators: People who can inspire confidence, adapt to diverse learning needs, manage vibrant group dynamics, and lead classes across primary (Grades 1–7), secondary (Grades 8–12) groups.
